We are still ALIVE!!!!!

I know that it seems like it has been forever since there has been a new post on here, but life has been hectic, and there just hasn't been time. Speaking of time, WOW does it fly. We are just about a month away from it being summer. You can't tell by the mini blizzards that fly through town. Anyway, back to the story. Daxton will be 3months old on the 19th. Thats right, he will be 3 MONTHS OLD. I can't believe it. I stood on the scale with him the other day and we estimate his weight to be about 15lbs. He just keeps packing it on.

I guess I should catch ya up on the happenings. For spring break, we took the boys to Boise. We stayed in a Hotel, and got to go swimming. Hadley had a blast. The highlight for him, was having pizza delivered to the room. Oh and by the way...Don't try to order chicken ranch pizza in Boise...Nobody makes it. We went swimming that next morning, and then to the continental breakfast, and then off to BABIES R US. Ok, so that store is full of cool stuff, but $40.00 for a stinkin mobil is crazy...We visited the mall, and then went to the Olive Garden for lunch. They really need one of those in Twin Falls. After that we trecked to the Zoo.
The zoo was pretty cool. Hadley got to be up close and personal with the giraffes, and see how tall they really are. The monkeys were pretty funny also. Have some stories, but I don't want to offend. :)

Easter was a good time too. The boys looked pretty studly in there outfits. We went to Grandma Picketts for the day, and had lunch, watched conference, took naps, and hunted eggs. Not necessarly in that order... :)

I hope that you enjoy the pictures.

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT EASTER HOLIDAY

1st week

Don't get too excited, this doesn't mean that there is going to be an update every week, but one can hope. :) It has been so much fun having Daxton home. It is great to have another addition to the family. Hadley really does love his new little brother, and gets very protective of him. It is very fun to watch. So now on with the show...here are some new pics!!!!

aLmOsT dOnE!!!

Well, the time is slowly dragging by, and we are down to the last couple days before our little baby boy will arrive. The c-section is scheduled for Tuesday morning. We kept thinking maybe something would happen before then, but it hasn't yet so we are not holding our breath. If we did we might not make it till Tuesday. We have everything set up for him when he gets here, and are excited to welcome him into our lives. It has been a fun experience, and we have enjoyed every second of it. Well, ya know, maybe not, but it makes for good reading. :) Time to get to bed. 9:00am church seems to get here really fast.

The HOLIDAYS

Well, I guess it is time for another update. Christmas was amazing. We stayed home christmas morning and opened presents as a family for the first time.  It was fun to be the dad handing out the presents. It made me feel all grown up.  Well, I said feel, not that I actually was grown up. That will probably never happen. Hadley was very excited for all of his gifts. Well, most of them. The clothes were not the biggest hit, but they were cool in their own way. We then made our way over to Jerome, and opened gifts with Grandma Pickett, and Uncle Ronald, Aunt Ashley, Trinity, and Aunt Rachel. It was a little chaotic, but it was still fun. After that, we headed out west to the ranch to party with the Severe family. Everyone was there, and speaking of chaos...I don't think it gets more chaotic that at the Severe house, but that is what makes it fun. All of the kids had fun opening and playing with everyones toys. I helped my dad suprise my mom with diamond earrings, and my brother in law suprise my sister with an anniversary band. It was fun to be able to do that for them.

For New Years Eve, we again ventured out west, and played ROCK BAND on the wii that my brother and his family got for christmas. It was a blast. We laughed so hard, and had a great time. The next morning all the kids went sledding and came back in the house sopping wet. We were able to play with Grandpa Severe's puppies, and eat and eat and eat. That is what the holidays are all about right?

I am very grateful for this holiday season, and the joy that it has brought to our little family. We have been able to feel the Spirit of God in our hearts so much, and we are grateful to all of our friends and family that has been there to help us through this little hurdle.

We have scheduled the 19th for the birth of our little baby boy. They will be doing a C-Section. Cynthia keeps hoping that something will happen before that, but is doubtful. We are anxiously awaiting this new addition to our family, and can't wait for the changes that it will bring.
